Amanda Dufty LCSW

Born and raised in Blissfield, Michigan, Amanda is deeply rooted in the values of small-town community and resilience. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Wayne State University in Detroit, where she developed a strong foundation in clinical mental health and evidence-based practice.

Amanda specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including Autism, ADHD, PTSD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, and personality disorders. She believes in tailoring therapy to each individual’s unique needs, drawing from approaches that foster healing, self-awareness, and long-term emotional wellness.

With a deep respect for working-class communities, Amanda also offers therapy specifically designed to address the mental health needs of blue-collar workers—including occupational stress, injury recovery, and the stigma often associated with seeking support. Her compassionate and down-to-earth style creates a safe space for clients to navigate their experiences and build lasting change.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking trails, kayaking, spending time with her dogs (Penny and Leviathan), and caring for a surprisingly long-lived frog (Craig). She’s an avid reader of end-of-the-world novels, putting puzzles together, and loves unwinding with a good horror movie binge. Her sense of humor and curiosity about the unexpected often find their way into her therapeutic style.
